Step #1: KNOW

"KNOW ABOUT GOD"

GOD CREATED: "In the beginning God created the Heavens and the earth." (Gen. 1:1)

GOD LOVED: "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16)

GOD PROVIDED: "I go to prepare a place for you...I will come again to receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." (John 14:2-3) Heaven

Step #2: UNDERSTAND

"UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU KNOW"

GOD IS SINLESS: "He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." (II Cor. 5:21)

MAN IS SINFUL: "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)

GOD IS FORGIVING: "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to clease us from all unrighteousess." (I John 1:9)

Step #3: BELIEVE

"BELIEVE WHAT YOU UNDERSTAND"

JESUS IS THE WAY: "Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me." (John 14:6)

MAN IS IN NEED: "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23)

FAITH IS THE KEY: "He who believes in the Son has eternal life..." (John 3:36)

Step #4: RECEIVE

"RECEIVE WHAT YOU BELIEVE"

RECEIVE JESUS CHRIST: "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name." (John 1:12)

1) Know this is a dollar bill.

2) Understand what it can do.

3) Believe that it is real.

But until you receive it-you can never experience its benefit. How can a person receive Jesus?

WE RECEIVE CHRIST BY FAITH THROUGH PRAYER: "...if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved." (Romans 10:9)

Dear God, I know that I have sinned, but

I believe that Jesus died on the cross to

forgive me. I receive Jesus as the only way to

salvation. I am willing to turn from my sin.

Please forgive me of my sin and give me

eternal life. In Jesus' name, Amen
